VIET ARGO CO., LTD. is a manufacturer and exporter of biomass products. Because our goods are industrial commodities shipped in containers, returns work differently from retail e-commerce. This policy explains how we handle refunds and remedies fairly.

1. General Principle

All shipments are inspected and documented before loading. Once goods pass the agreed specification and are loaded, orders are confirmed and payments are non-refundable, except as described below.

2. Quality Non-Conformity

If independent inspection at the discharge port shows the goods materially deviate from the contract specification, you may file a claim under our Quality & Inspection Policy (within 15 days of discharge, with laboratory evidence). Validated claims are resolved by:

  • Price adjustment proportional to the deviation, credited to the next order or refunded;
  • Replacement goods in the next shipment; or
  • Refund of the affected lot value, by bank transfer to the paying account.

3. Buyer-Initiated Cancellation

If a buyer cancels a confirmed order without cause: deposits already paid are retained to cover reserved raw material and production capacity. If production and documentation are already complete, the buyer also covers costs actually incurred (packaging, inland transport, inspection fees).

4. Damaged or Short Cargo

Claims for damage or shortage must be noted on the delivery receipt at the discharge port and reported to us within 7 days with photographs and the survey report. Marine cargo damage is primarily a matter between the consignee and the insurer; we fully cooperate with documentation for your insurance claim.

5. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are issued within 30 business days of the settlement agreement, in the original payment currency. Bank transfer fees are shared: each side bears its own bank’s charges.
